T-shirts:
Last Halloween I decided I wanted some great Mito awareness t-shirts to wear for Halloween. After we sold over 400, I realized that everyone must feel the same way! Soon after that, Dr. Walter Bottje from the University of Arkansas and I were discussing mitochondrial research and awareness, and he mentioned to me that he and his team coined themselves the "Mitochondriacs." When I started working on t-shirts, I asked Dr. Bottje for permission to use the team's namesake, and he said YES! Sharon Shaw worked double-time to get these shirts to press and to Symposium on time!

There are now plenty of t-shirts now on sale for you to choose from! UMDF has some of the designs on white or gray t-shirts, but I have several more that we will eventually get out. Designs are below, and you can order them through UMDF by calling 1-888-317-UMDF.

Also, Jennifer (a friend of mine from Austin and mom to Jimmy AKA "The Big Guy") designed several text-only t-shirts filled with sarcasm! Her t-shirts also work well for undiagnosed patients. Her t-shirt sales benefit UMDF and SWAN. Check them out! http://www.zazzle.com/special_tees/products
